Preparing again to leave for an extended journey back to our island home is a complex mix of earnest excitement and worrisome weariness. 

If there's anything these past years of pandemic have taught us it's that you never know what's coming - or going for that matter.

Vistas and visions vulnerable. Plans and promises plundered. Outlook and outcomes outed. 

Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language.

Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question.

Rather than timeless or infinite life is everything, everywhere, all at once. Past, present, and future are intimately interconnected and intertwined. 

It is really detrimental to humanity that most of us nowadays have lost this way of being. Let us pray we find our roots and origins, connect with them closely, and learn to collaborate with each other more.
