On November 7 at 9:22 p.m. EST, Uranus returned to Taurus for the final chapter of his transit through the sign of the Bull. 

This transit’s final weeks and months are an invitation to wrap up loose ends and consolidate the changes that have taken place inwardly. During this time, we are being asked to realign with our true values and redefine stability and security. 

seven year cycle shift

Modern humans live in a Death Culture, removed from Nature. We are killing Mother Earth and doing nothing about it. Earth is our home, our safety and security. 

Most ancient cultures accepted death as a part of the natural cycle of life. They honored Life because they accepted Death. But the religious and cultural norms most of us were raised with make us afraid of Death. 

All the religions of the Book describe an afterlife of pain and flames if we don’t live perfectly and follow their rules. Who would want to die if you believed you’d be thrown into a pit of flames?

We allow our leaders to choose destruction and cruelty in communities all over the world. We pay for death with our tax dollars. Our greed and destruction are killing our future and the generations to come. 

What other culture poisons its own people? Our food is poisoned. Our air is poisoned for profit. Our seas and waters are poisoned. Our Earth is poisoned. 

Chaos and upheaval challenge us daily. Eruptions and earthquakes. Elections and corruption. Typhoons and deluge. Greed of insatiable tycoons and leaders. A growing string of calamities unattended, now rearing their ugliness. 

While Uranus is completing his retrograde in Taurus, we have an opportunity to redefine our relationship with security, change, and uncertainty. 

We have an opportunity to question what is valuable to us compared to what we have been taught to value, what our true priorities are, and what wealth means to us rather than what it means for others.

Uranus retrograde in the sign of the Bull asks us to question where we are too attached to comfort zones that are not allowing us to grow and discern between what provides us true security and what only provides the illusion of it. 

Uranus’ final retrograde through Taurus is an invitation to explore what freedom, abundance, and sustainability truly mean to us, liberate ourselves from outdated attachments, and discover new ways of relating with the Earth - with our bodies, with our potential, with our resources.
