September eclipses & Autumn equinox

September marks several dates of import that impact us on a variety of levels - cosmic, global, national, local and personal - stirring us to the core.

On September 12 and 13 a partial solar eclipse occurred - the center of the moon's shadow missed the earth, partly obscuring our view of the sun.

Many believe that made the influence of this New Moon more powerful for seeding new beginnings. This Virgo Solar Eclipse can help us begin our journey to wholeness and health - not just for ourselves but for our planet and the world as well.

In light of the news nowadays, this comes as a timely comfort indeed.

On September 27 and 28 much of the world will witness a rare astronomical event - a super moon eclipse. It is the latter of two total lunar eclipses in 2015 and the final in a tetrad - the last of four total lunar eclipses in series.

"With this last Aries Blood Moon total lunar eclipse, it's time to integrate the endings, awakenings, transformations and death and rebirth experiences related to the balance of Self and Other." ~ Cathy Pagano

This period initiates a more balanced exchange between the masculine and feminine energies in life, among ourselves and within each of us.

Autumn is just around the corner - this Aries full moon is also a harvest moon - the one closest to the Autumn Equinox on September 23.

This final celestial hurrah of the season asks us to look at our harvests and save the seeds for our future. A new life for next year is contained in these seeds.

Happy Harvest!
