It feels good to get back to regular walks around the neighborhood.
Passing through other folks' gardens and checking out current blooms of the season.
What a joy to see the riot of color. Even seasonal allergies cannot dampen their scents.
It is a delight to catch this vivid floral display springing up all over the place.
In the US East Coast we had an uncharacteristically warm and short winter this year.
As a result, fall flowers got an extended blooming period and spring blooms were tricked into flowering early.
This summer seems uncharacteristically cool as well. So who knows what will get whacked out of season as well on this round?
Flowers that were supposed to appear this June had already bloomed back in February and March.
Fall of 2015 was the warmest on record in the contiguous United States, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Thanks to El NiƱo this trend is bound to continue on for many weeks.
Whether these are indicators to batten down the hatches, who is to say?
In the meantime, we are out and about enjoying the weather as much as we can!
