The holidays are officially here. Occasion for wonder | wander | women to eat out and celebrate more. As you can see from our past few blog posts, we are applying ourselves to the task!
While our UK half was pining for more Thanksgiving celebrations, Mahala is lucky to be working at a place where they do celebrate with a special spread to celebrate the day.
Our US half had a weekend blast celebrating with family in Fort Lee and Edgewater, New Jersey. Lunch on Thanksgiving was at the newly opened Ventanas Restaurant and Lounge at The Modern in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Like all the gargantuan expansion in the area, the venue was conspicuously flashy and modern. Boasting a melting pot of Latino and Asian fusion of festive flavours.

It was a cold and blustery day but we were warm and cozy by our window seats overlooking the veranda and patio outside.
Where we were entertained by dog walkers and their pets blowing in the wind. It was definitely a fine day to fully express our appreciation and gratitude.
For each other. Having the time to come together. To catch up on each other's lives. To enjoy the bounty of this yummy spread and their tantalizing flavours.
We had a good time enjoying the day with good food, in a prime location, in each others company, and discussing the choices and highlights that culminated in our current being and evolution.
