medicine songs

An ancient prophesy declares, “When enough seeds are awake, released from fear and other negative aspects of the third and fourth level of consciousness, the seeds of the fifth level will be able to sprout within humanity and form a whole”.

Honoring the prophecy of the Q’eros Elders of the Andes

Whatever your belief or tradition, we gather here in a space of compassion and kindness to honor the many souls we have lost in this pandemic. We seek to find solace and light to guide us out of this.

Graceful Passages: A Companion for Living and Dying

At a recent course with Sandra Ingerman she taught us some Circle Songs and was generous enough to allow us to share them in our communities. We encourage you to sing along with these songs every day and share them in your communities as well.

May we walk in Beauty in a sacred way
May we walk in Beauty each and every day.
May we walk in Beauty in a sacred way
May we walk in Beauty each and every day.
May the Beauty of the Fire, lift our spirit higher,
May the Beauty of the Earth, fill our heart with mirth,
May the Beauty of the Rain, wash away our pain,
May the beauty of the Sky teach our mind to fly.

We are opening up in sweet surrender
to the luminous love light of The One.
We are opening up in sweet surrender
to the luminous love light of The One.
We are opening, we are opening.
We are opening, we are opening.

Mother I feel you under my feet
Mother I hear your heart beat

Morning sun, morning sun. Come my way, come my way.
Come my way, come my way. Take my pain, take my pain.
Take my pain, take my pain. Down below, down below.
Down below, down below. Cool waters down below.

Earth is my body. Water is my blood. Air is my breath and Fire is my spirit.

Like many traditional songs there is power in the words and they are filled with so much love our soul and spirit sings out in resonance. They are healing medicine for these times of uncertainty and loss.

Transmutation: seeing the world through the eyes of spirit

As the ancients advise us, “Follow your own footprints. Learn from rivers, trees, rocks. Honor your brothers, honor Mother Earth, honor the Great Spirit. Honor yourself and all Creation. Look with the eyes of your soul and commit to the essentials”.
