Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Today we honor the legacy of Doctor King - a historical global figure advocating for freedom and equality for African Americans, the economically disadvantaged, and victims of injustice.
All through peaceful protest. We invite you to join us in celebrating the mission of this inimitable man and the beautiful words he offered to the world, and to take some time in contemplation of how what he said is still most relevant to the world we live in today.
Is the United States on the brink of a revolution? |
May we all work to embody his messages of conscious awareness, love, and peace. 2025 tests our faith - taking the steps forward even when faced with such a bleak future. Where do we find the light and love to support and sustain us.
Hate is too dismal a burden to bear. Nothing is more dangerous than the sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity in abundance today. The creative dedicated minority need to rise up in resistance to turn the world forward and better.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. Nonviolence is a powerful and just weapon - unique in history, cutting without wounding - to ennoble the one who wields it.
The ultimate measure of humanity is not where we stand in moments of comfort and convenience but where we stand at times of challenge and controversy. The most persistent and urgent question right now is - What are you doing for others?
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
peace & love |
Love is the only force capable of transforming us - for transmutation to occur. Offerings cleansed in the purifying fire of intended harmony.
Racism and warfare are now unacceptable for humankind to survive and thrive. Peace can never become a reality in the absence of unarmed truth and unconditional love.
We may have all come on different ships - yet we’re in the same boat now.
