Trees, flowers, moss or grass - all are made more magical in our urban crowded jungle. All the more appreciated - as our eyes feast with relief and our spirits rejoice.

Not much wildlife though Mahala has her backyard fox and Issa has her neighborhood skunk. We do have a large variety of twittering, flitting industrious birds that flock around us.
Far from our hometown island in the sun, we find our own little pockets of nature to explore in our current adopted cities - happily surrounded by thriving wetlands.
